CALAIS

Teacher at the Art School of Calais, he has painted and exhibited his achievements for more than a decade. His current work is essentially based around language and writing. From his childish schooling, he retained the lines of punishment to copy. Remembrance becomes a pretext for the creation, it takes taste and superimposes the writings of the 4 sides of the canvas until sometimes reaching illegibility and abstraction. It uses ideograms invented by the Hobos, "geometric" signs from the Upper Paleolithic (-40,000 to -10,000 years) and the Thracian alphabet. His research leads him to discover other sets of signs (alphabets, professional codes, coded languages ...) and to invent them.
